^20 (A)Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and ^(B)those who worshiped his image. ^(C)These two were cast alive into the lake of fire ^(D)burning with brimstone.

¹⁰ The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone ^(A)where^[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they ^(B)will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

^8 (A)But the cowardly, ^[a]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in ^(B)the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

¹⁴ Then ^(A)Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. ^(B)This is the second ^[a]death. ¹⁵ And anyone not found written in the Book of Life ^(C)was cast into the lake of fire.

⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, ^(A)whom the Lord will consume ^(B)with the breath of His mouth and destroy ^(C)with the brightness of His coming. ⁹ The coming of the lawless one is ^(D)according to the working of Satan, with all power, ^(E)signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all unrighteous deception among ^(F)those who perish, because they did not receive ^(G)the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And ^(H)for this reason God will send them strong delusion, ^(I)that they should believe the lie,

⁷ “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, ^(A)a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, ^(B)and it had ten horns. ⁸ I was considering the horns, and ^(C)there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes ^(D)of a man, ^(E)and a mouth speaking ^[a]pompous words.

Vision of the Ancient of Days

¹¹ “I watched then because of the sound of the ^[d]pompous words which the horn was speaking; ^(M)I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. ¹² As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

¹⁰ he himself ^(A)shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is ^(B)poured out full strength into ^(C)the cup of His indignation. ^(D)He shall be tormented with ^(E)fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

^12 (A)“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.
