Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken

¹⁷ Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, ^(A)“It is done!”

⁶ And He said to me, ^(A)“It^[a] is done! ^(B)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. ^(C)I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

³⁰ So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ^(A)“It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

^2 (A)in which you once walked according to the ^[a]course of this world, according to ^(B)the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in ^(C)the sons of disobedience,

⁵ After these things I looked, and ^[a]behold, ^(A)the ^[b]temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. ⁶ And out of the ^[c]temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, ^(B)clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.

⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, ^(A)who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, ^(B)that there should be delay no longer, ⁷ but ^(C)in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(A)principalities, against powers, against ^(B)the rulers of ^[a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

⁷ Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he ^(A)held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him ^(B)who lives forever, ^(C)that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; ^(D)and when the power of ^(E)the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

⁸ Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

⁹ And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. ^10 (F)Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, ^(G)but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but ^(H)the wise shall understand.

¹¹ “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. ¹² Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

¹³ “But you, go your way till the end; ^(I)for you shall rest, ^(J)and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

Satan Bound 1,000 Years

20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, ^(A)having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. ² He laid hold of ^(B)the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; ³ and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and ^(C)set a seal on him, ^(D)so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
