¹¹ and cursed ^(A)the God of heaven for their pain and ^(B)sores. ^(C)They did not repent of their deeds.

⁹ They were scorched by the fierce heat, and ^(A)they cursed^[a] the name of God who had power over these plagues. ^(B)They did not repent ^(C)and give him glory.

²¹ And ^(A)great hailstones, about one hundred pounds^[a] each, fell from heaven on people; and ^(B)they cursed God for ^(C)the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

² So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful ^(A)sores came upon the people who bore ^(B)the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

¹³ And at that hour there was ^(A)a great earthquake, and ^(B)a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^(C)gave glory to ^(D)the God of heaven.

²¹ I gave her time to repent, but ^(A)she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.

¹³ while ^(A)evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and ^(B)being deceived.

^18 (A)and told them to seek mercy from the ^(B)God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his companions might not ^(C)be destroyed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. ¹⁹ Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in ^(D)a vision of the night. Then Daniel ^(E)blessed the ^(F)God of heaven.
