The Messages of the Three Angels

⁶ Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live^[a] on the earth—to every nation and tribe and language and people.^(A)

¹⁵ And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news^[a] to the whole creation.

⁹ and to make everyone see^[a] what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in^[b] God, who created all things,^{(A) 10} so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.^{[c](B) 11} This was in accordance with the eternal purpose that he has carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,

¹³ Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew in midheaven, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”^(A)

¹⁰ Because you have kept my word of endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.^(A)

²⁵ Now to God^[a] who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages^(A)

²⁵ Then King Darius wrote to all peoples and nations of every language throughout the whole world: “May you have abundant prosperity!^{(A) 26} I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people shall tremble and fear before the God of Daniel:
