⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, ^(A)for they are virgins. These are the ones ^(B)who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These ^(C)were ^[a]redeemed from among men, ^(D)being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

^4 [a]You have ^(A)a few names ^[b]even in Sardis who have not ^(B)defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me ^(C)in white, for they are worthy.

² For I am ^(A)jealous for you with godly jealousy. For ^(B)I have betrothed you to one husband, ^(C)that I may present you ^(D)as a chaste virgin to Christ.

^18 (A)Of His own will He brought us forth by the ^(B)word of truth, ^(C)that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

⁹ And ^(A)they sang a new song, saying:

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him ^(A)follow Me; and ^(B)where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

^27 (A)My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

^14 (A)These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will ^(B)overcome them, ^(C)for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; ^(D)and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will ^(A)dwell among them. ^16 (B)They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; ^(C)the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; ¹⁷ for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne ^(D)will shepherd them and lead them to ^[a]living fountains of waters. ^(E)And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
