¹² Therefore, ^(A)rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But ^(B)woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because ^(C)he knows that his time is short!”

¹³ Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, ^(A)“Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

⁶ and swore by ^(A)him who lives forever and ever, ^(B)who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay,

Rejoicing in Heaven

19 After this I heard ^(A)what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,

³ Once more they cried out,

⁴ And ^(G)the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” ⁵ And from the throne came a voice saying,

⁶ Then I heard what seemed to be ^(J)the voice of a great multitude, like ^(K)the roar of many waters and ^(L)like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

¹⁰ and ^(A)those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and ^(B)exchange presents, because these two prophets ^(C)had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.
