The Angel and the Little Scroll

10 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with ^(A)a rainbow over his head, and ^(B)his face was like the sun, and ^(C)his legs like pillars of fire.

^15 (A)his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and ^(B)his voice was like the roar of many waters. ^16 (C)In his right hand he held seven stars, ^(D)from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and ^(E)his face was like the sun shining ^(F)in full strength.

² And he was ^(A)transfigured before them, and ^(B)his face shone like the sun, and ^(C)his clothes became white as light.

² And ^(A)I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”

²⁸ Like the appearance of ^(A)the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.

Such was the appearance of the likeness of ^(B)the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, ^(C)I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

¹³ Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, ^(A)“Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

³ And he who sat there had the appearance of ^(A)jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was ^(B)a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.

⁶ His body was like ^(A)beryl, his face ^(B)like the appearance of lightning, ^(C)his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and ^(D)legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and ^(E)the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.

The Harvest of the Earth

¹⁴ Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one ^(A)like a son of man, ^(B)with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. ¹⁵ And another angel ^(C)came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, ^(D)“Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for ^(E)the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.”
