Revelation 4:6-8

⁶Before the throne there ^[a]was ^(A)a sea of glass, like crystal. ^(B)And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. ⁷^(C)The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. ⁸The four living creatures, each having ^(D)six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

^(E)“Holy,^[b] holy, holy,
^(F)Lord God Almighty,
^(G)Who was and is and is to come!”

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,^(B) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.^(C) ⁷The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.^(D) ⁸Each of the four living creatures^(E) had six wings^(F) and was covered with eyes all around,^(G) even under its wings.
