(K)And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. 7 (L)The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. 8 The four living creatures, each having (M)six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, (Q)who lives forever and ever, 10 (R)the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
11 “You(S) are worthy, [g]O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
(T)For You created all things,
And by (U)Your will they [h]exist and were created.”

These are the seven spirits[a](K) of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,(L) clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,(M) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.(N) 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.(O) 8 Each of the four living creatures(P) had six wings(Q) and was covered with eyes all around,(R) even under its wings. Day and night(S) they never stop saying:
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne(V) and who lives for ever and ever,(W) 10 the twenty-four elders(X) fall down before him(Y) who sits on the throne(Z) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
