¹⁹ Then ^(A)the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of ^[a]His covenant was seen in His temple. And ^(B)there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, ^(C)and great hail.

²¹ And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

⁵ After these things I looked, and ^[a]behold, ^(A)the ^[b]temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. ⁶ And out of the ^[c]temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, ^(B)clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. ^7 (C)Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God ^(D)who lives forever and ever. ^8 (E)The temple was filled with smoke ^(F)from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

²² And I will ^(A)bring him to judgment with ^(B)pestilence and bloodshed; ^(C)I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, ^(D)great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

⁵ And from the throne proceeded ^(A)lightnings, ^[a]thunderings, and voices. ^(B)Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are ^(C)the^[b] seven Spirits of God.
