⁵ Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land^(A) raised his right hand to heaven.^(B)

⁶ And he swore^(A) by him who lives for ever and ever,^(B) who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it,^(C) and said, “There will be no more delay!^(D)

⁸ And I will bring you to the land^(A) I swore^(B) with uplifted hand^(C) to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.^(D) I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’”^(E)
