¹²The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

¹²The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.^(A) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness^(B) and put on the armor^(C) of light.

¹¹Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹¹Put on the full armor of God,^(A) so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
