2 Lorsque les Ziphiens vinrent dire à Saül: David n’est-il pas caché parmi nous?
3 O Dieu! sauve-moi par ton nom,
Et rends-moi justice par ta puissance!
4 O Dieu! écoute ma prière,
Prête l’oreille aux paroles de ma bouche!
5 Car des étrangers se sont levés contre moi,
Des hommes violents en veulent à ma vie;
Ils ne portent pas leurs pensées sur Dieu. – Pause.
6 Voici, Dieu est mon secours,
Le Seigneur est le soutien de mon âme.
7 Le mal retombera sur mes adversaires;
Réduis-les au silence, dans ta fidélité!
8 Je t’offrirai de bon cœur des sacrifices;
Je louerai ton nom, ô Eternel! car il est favorable,
9 Car il me délivre de toute détresse,
Et mes yeux se réjouissent à la vue de mes ennemis.

Ang Dios ang Sumasaklolo
54 O Dios, iligtas nʼyo ako sa pamamagitan ng inyong kapangyarihan at patunayan nʼyong wala akong kasalanan.
2 Dinggin nʼyo ang aking mga panalangin,
3 dahil sinasalakay ako ng mga dayuhan upang patayin. Malulupit sila at hindi kumikilala sa inyo.
4 Kayo, O Dios ang tumutulong sa akin.
Kayo, Panginoon ang aking maaasahan.
5 Ibalik nʼyo sana sa aking mga kaaway ang ginagawa nilang masama.
O Dios, sa inyong pagkamatapat, lipulin nʼyo sila.
6 Kusang-loob akong maghahandog sa inyo Panginoon.
Pupurihin ko ang pangalan nʼyo dahil napakabuti ninyo.
7 Iniligtas nʼyo ako sa lahat ng kahirapan,
at nakita kong natalo ang aking mga kaaway.

1 Save me(B), O God, by your name;(C)
vindicate me by your might.(D)
2 Hear my prayer, O God;(E)
listen to the words of my mouth.
