Tillbe Gud den helige!

99 Herren är kung! Folken bävar! Han har sin tron på keruberna, och därför darrar hela jorden.

2 Herren sitter på tronen i Jerusalem. Bara han har makt över jordens alla folk.

3 Och alla prisar hans storhet och hans heliga namn.

4 Du store kung, som älskar rättvisa, du är ärlig i allt vad du gör, och därför har du infört lag och ordning i Israel.

5 Lova Herren, vår Gud, fall ner och tillbe honom framför tronen.

6 När Mose och Aron, som var hans präster, och Samuel, en av hans många profeter, ropade till honom om hjälp, svarade han dem.

7 Han talade till dem från ett moln, och de följde de instruktioner han gav dem.

8 Herre, vår Gud, du svarade ditt folk och förlät dem deras synder. Men du var också en Gud som straffade dem när de handlade fel.

9 Lova Herren, vår Gud! Be till honom på hans heliga berg i Jerusalem! Herren, vår Gud, är helig.

Praise to God for His Holiness

1 The Lord is king; let the peoples tremble!
    He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!(A)
2 The Lord is great in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the peoples.(B)
3 Let them praise your great and awesome name.
    Holy is he!
4 Mighty King,[a] lover of justice,
    you have established equity;
you have executed justice
    and righteousness in Jacob.(C)
5 Extol the Lord our God;
    worship at his footstool.
    Holy is he!(D)

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel also was among those who called on his name.
    They cried to the Lord, and he answered them.(E)
7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his decrees
    and the statutes that he gave them.(F)

8 O Lord our God, you answered them;
    you were a forgiving God to them
    but an avenger of their wrongdoings.(G)
9 Extol the Lord our God,
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the Lord our God is holy.(H)

    let the earth shake.
2 Great is the Lord(E) in Zion;(F)
    he is exalted(G) over all the nations.
3 Let them praise(H) your great and awesome name(I)—
    he is holy.(J)

4 The King(K) is mighty, he loves justice(L)—
    you have established equity;(M)
in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.(N)
5 Exalt(O) the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

they called on the Lord
