Gud är vår kung
1-2 Kom allesammans, gläd er och klappa i händerna! Ropa högt och jubla inför Herren!
3 Herren är en Gud över alla gudar. Han är hela jordens kung som människorna darrar inför.
4 Han lät oss segra över andra folk för att vi skulle lägga dem under oss.
5 Han utvalde det land i vilket vi lever. Vi är stolta över det. Vi är hans folk och han älskar oss.
6 Gud stiger upp på sin tron under mäktiga rop och trumpetstötar.
7-8 Sjung din lovsång till Gud. Ja, sjung ut din lovsång till vår kung, hela jordens kung!
9 Han sitter på sin heliga tron och regerar över folken.
10 De som styr över folken förenar sig med dem som bekänner Abrahams Gud. Han är mäktigare än alla kungar, och han ensam blir upphöjd och ärad över allt.

God Is King over All the Earth
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of (A)the Sons of Korah.
47 (B)Clap your hands, all peoples!
(C)Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the Lord, the Most High, (D)is to be feared,
(E)a great king over all the earth.
3 He (F)subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our (G)heritage for us,
(H)the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
5 God (I)has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is (J)the King of all the earth;
sing praises (K)with a psalm![a]
8 God (L)reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 (M)The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For (N)the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

1 Clap your hands, all you peoples;
shout to God with loud songs of joy.(A)
2 For the Lord, the Most High, is awesome,
a great king over all the earth.(B)
3 He subdued peoples under us
and nations under our feet.(C)
4 He chose our heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah(D)
5 God has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.(E)
