Lovprisning till Skaparen och Herren
33 Jubla i Herren, ni rättfärdiga,
för det hör till de rättsinniga att prisa honom!
2 Prisa Herren med lyra,
sjung lovsång till honom med tiosträngad harpa!
3 Sjung en ny sång för honom,
spela ljuvligt och ropa av glädje!
4 Herrens ord är tillförlitligt,
allt han gör sker i trofasthet.
5 Han älskar rätt och rättfärdighet.
Jorden är full av Herrens nåd.
6 Genom Herrens ord blev himlarna till,
dess här genom hans muns ande.
7 Han samlade havsvattnen till en plats,
han lade djupen där de skulle förvaras.
8 Låt alla i hela världen frukta Herren,
alla jordens invånare visa vördnad för honom.
9 För han talade, och det blev till,
han befallde, och det stod där.
10 Herren gör folkens planer om intet,
han avvisar deras målsättningar.
11 Herrens plan består för evigt,
hans avsikter från generation till generation.
12 Lyckligt är det folk vars Gud Herren är,
det folk som han har utvalt till sitt eget!
13 Från himlen blickar Herren ner,
han ser varje människa.
14 Han betraktar från sin boning
alla som bor på jorden,
15 han som har skapat allas hjärtan
och vakar över allt de gör.
16 Ingen kung kan räddas av en stor armé,
ingen kämpe kommer undan för sin stora styrka.
17 Stridshästar ger falska hopp om räddning.
De är starka, men de kan inte rädda någon.
18 Men Herrens ögon följer dem som fruktar honom
och hoppas på hans nåd.
19 Han räddar dem från döden
och håller dem vid liv under hungersnöd.
20 Vi väntar på Herren,
han är vår hjälp och sköld.
21 I honom har vi vår innerliga glädje.
Vi förtröstar på hans heliga namn.
22 Herre, låt din nåd vila över oss,
för vi hoppas bara på dig.

King James Version
33 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

33 义人哪，你们应当靠耶和华欢乐！正直人的赞美是合宜的。
2 你们应当弹琴称谢耶和华，用十弦瑟歌颂他。
3 应当向他唱新歌，弹得巧妙，声音洪亮。
4 因为耶和华的言语正直，凡他所做的尽都诚实。
5 他喜爱仁义、公平，遍地满了耶和华的慈爱。
6 诸天借耶和华的命而造，万象借他口中的气而成。
7 他聚集海水如垒，收藏深洋在库房。
8 愿全地都敬畏耶和华，愿世上的居民都惧怕他。
9 因为他说有，就有；命立，就立。
10 耶和华使列国的筹算归于无有，使众民的思念无有功效。
11 耶和华的筹算永远立定，他心中的思念万代常存。
以耶和华为神者其国有福
12 以耶和华为神的，那国是有福的！他所拣选为自己产业的，那民是有福的！
13 耶和华从天上观看，他看见一切的世人，

16 君王不能因兵多得胜，勇士不能因力大得救。
17 靠马得救是枉然的，马也不能因力大救人。
