1 En vallfartssång av David.

Se, hur gott och ljuvligt det är
    när bröder bor endräktigt tillsammans.
2 Det är som när den dyrbara oljan på huvudet
rinner ner i skägget, i Arons skägg,
    och ner över kragen på hans dräkt.
3 Det är som Hermons dagg
    som faller ner på Sions berg.
Ty där ger Herren befallning om välsignelse,
om liv till evig tid.

1 How good and pleasant it is
    when God’s people live together(A) in unity!(B)

2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,(C)
    running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
    down on the collar of his robe.
3 It is as if the dew(D) of Hermon(E)
    were falling on Mount Zion.(F)
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,(G)
    even life forevermore.(H)

2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of (B)Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For (C)there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.
