128 Välsignad är den som fruktar Herren och litar på honom, ja, välsignad är den som lyder honom.
2 Det du förtjänat, ska du kunna njuta av. Det går dig väl och lyckan är på din sida.
3 Din hustru kommer att likna en fruktbar vinstock med många druvor. Och se på alla hennes barn! De sitter runt middagsbordet, lika friska och starka som unga olivträd.
4 Så belönar Herren den som respekterar och ärar honom.
5 Herren ska välsigna dig, han som bor på berget Sion. Så länge du lever ska du se att det går väl för Jerusalem.
6 Må du leva så länge att du kan glädja dig över dina barnbarn. Må Guds frid vila över Israel!

around your table.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
