¹⁰And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.

¹⁰Et factus est Dominus refugium pauperi; adjutor in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione.

¹¹Et sperent in te qui noverunt nomen tuum, quoniam non dereliquisti quaerentes te, Domine.

¹⁹For the poor man shall not be forgotten to the end: the patience of the poor shall not perish for ever.

²⁰Arise, O Lord, let not man be strengthened: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.

¹⁹Quoniam non in finem oblivio erit pauperis; patientia pauperum non peribit in finem.

²⁰Exsurge, Domine; non confortetur homo: judicentur gentes in conspectu tuo.

³If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.

⁴For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:
