Psalm 30:2-12
New International Version
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,(A)
and you healed me.(B)
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;(C)
you spared me from going down to the pit.(D)
4 Sing(E) the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;(F)
praise his holy name.(G)
5 For his anger(H) lasts only a moment,(I)
but his favor lasts a lifetime;(J)
weeping(K) may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.(L)
6 When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”(M)
7 Lord, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain[a] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,(N)
I was dismayed.
