² The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my ^[a]strength, ^(A)in whom I will trust;
My shield and the ^[b]horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

³ The God of my strength, ^(A)in whom I will trust;
My ^(B)shield and the ^(C)horn^[a] of my salvation,
My ^(D)stronghold and my ^(E)refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.

¹⁰ The adversaries of the Lord shall be ^(A)broken in pieces;
^(B)From heaven He will thunder against them.
^(C)The Lord will judge the ends of the earth.

¹⁵ Blessed are the people who know the ^(A)joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
¹⁶ In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
¹⁷ For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our ^[a]horn is ^(B)exalted.

^20 (A)I have found My servant David;
With My holy oil I have anointed him,
^21 (B)With whom My hand shall be established;
Also My arm shall strengthen him.
²² The enemy shall not ^[a]outwit him,
Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
²³ I will beat down his foes before his face,
And plague those who hate him.

^24 (A)The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
