Psalm 102:8-104:4

¹² But you, O Lord, are ^(H)enthroned forever;
    you ^(I)are remembered throughout all generations.
¹³ You will ^(J)arise and have ^(K)pity on Zion;
    it is the time to favor her;
    ^(L)the appointed time has come.
¹⁴ For your servants hold her ^(M)stones dear
    and have pity on her dust.
¹⁵ Nations will ^(N)fear the name of the Lord,
    and all ^(O)the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
¹⁶ For the Lord ^(P)builds up Zion;
    he ^(Q)appears in his glory;
¹⁷ he ^(R)regards the prayer of the destitute
    and does not despise their prayer.

¹⁸ Let this be ^(S)recorded for ^(T)a generation to come,
    so that ^(U)a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
¹⁹ that he ^(V)looked down from his holy height;
    from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
²⁰ to hear ^(W)the groans of the prisoners,
    to set free ^(X)those who were doomed to die,
²¹ that they may ^(Y)declare in Zion the name of the Lord,
    and in Jerusalem his praise,
²² when ^(Z)peoples gather together,
    and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.

²³ He has broken my strength in midcourse;
    he ^(AA)has shortened my days.
²⁴ “O my God,” ^(AB)I say, “take me not away
    in the midst of my days—
^(AC)you whose years endure
    throughout all generations!”

^25 (AD)Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,
    and ^(AE)the heavens are the work of your hands.
^26 (AF)They will perish, but ^(AG)you will remain;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
²⁷     but ^(AH)you are the same, and your years have no end.
^28 (AI)The children of your servants ^(AJ)shall dwell secure;
    ^(AK)their offspring shall be established before you.

⁶ The Lord works ^(AU)righteousness
    and justice for all who are oppressed.
⁷ He made known his ^(AV)ways to Moses,
    his ^(AW)acts to the people of Israel.
⁸ The Lord is ^(AX)merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
^9 (AY)He will not always chide,
    nor will he ^(AZ)keep his anger forever.
¹⁰ He does not deal with us ^(BA)according to our sins,
    nor repay us according to our iniquities.
¹¹ For ^(BB)as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his ^(BC)steadfast love toward ^(BD)those who fear him;
¹² as far as the east is from the west,
    so far does he ^(BE)remove our transgressions from us.
¹³ As ^(BF)a father shows compassion to his children,
    so the Lord shows compassion ^(BG)to those who fear him.
¹⁴ For he knows our frame;^[a]
    he ^(BH)remembers that we are dust.

¹⁵ As for man, his days are like ^(BI)grass;
    he flourishes like ^(BJ)a flower of the field;
¹⁶ for ^(BK)the wind passes over it, and ^(BL)it is gone,
    and ^(BM)its place knows it no more.
¹⁷ But ^(BN)the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on ^(BO)those who fear him,
    and his righteousness to ^(BP)children's children,
¹⁸ to those who ^(BQ)keep his covenant
    and ^(BR)remember to do his commandments.
¹⁹ The Lord has ^(BS)established his throne in the heavens,
    and his ^(BT)kingdom rules over all.

²⁰ Bless the Lord, O you ^(BU)his angels,
    you ^(BV)mighty ones who ^(BW)do his word,
    obeying the voice of his word!
²¹ Bless the Lord, all his ^(BX)hosts,
    his ^(BY)ministers, who do his will!
^22 (BZ)Bless the Lord, all his works,
    in all places of his dominion.
^(CA)Bless the Lord, O my soul!
