How Great Are Your Works, O Yahweh

A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day.

92 It is (A)good to give thanks to Yahweh
And to (B)sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To (C)declare Your lovingkindness in the morning
And Your (D)faithfulness [a]by night,
[b]With the (E)ten-stringed lute and with the (F)harp,
[c]With resounding music [d]upon the (G)lyre.
For You, O Yahweh, have made me glad by [e]what You (H)have done,
I will (I)sing for joy at the (J)works of Your hands.

How (K)great are Your works, O Yahweh!
Your [f](L)thoughts are very (M)deep.
A (N)senseless man does not know,
And a (O)fool does not understand this:
That when the wicked (P)flourished like grass
And all (Q)the workers of iniquity blossomed,
It was only that they might be (R)destroyed forevermore.
But You are (S)on high forever, O Yahweh.
For, behold, Your enemies, O Yahweh,
For, behold, (T)Your enemies will perish;
All the workers of iniquity will be (U)scattered.

10 But You have raised up my (V)horn like that of the wild ox;
I have [g]been (W)anointed with fresh oil.
11 And my eye has (X)looked exultantly upon [h]my foes,
My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.
12 The (Y)righteous man will [i]flourish like the palm tree,
He will grow like a (Z)cedar in Lebanon.
13 (AA)Planted in the house of Yahweh,
They will flourish (AB)in the courts of our God.
14 They will still [j](AC)yield fruit in old age;
They shall be [k]rich and fresh,
15 To [l]declare that (AD)Yahweh is upright;
He is my (AE)rock, and there is (AF)no unrighteousness in Him.

Praise for Jehovah’s goodness.

A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day.

92 It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah,
And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;
To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning,
And thy faithfulness every night,
With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery;
With a solemn sound upon the harp.
For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work:
I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
How great are thy works, O Jehovah!
Thy thoughts are very deep.
A brutish man knoweth not;
Neither doth a fool understand this:
When the wicked spring as the grass,
And when all the workers of iniquity do flourish;
It is that they shall be destroyed for ever.
But thou, O Jehovah, art on high for evermore.
For, lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah,
For, lo, thine enemies shall perish;
All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 But my horn hast thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox:
I am anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also hath seen my desire on [a]mine enemies,
Mine ears have heard my desire of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree:
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 They are planted in the house of Jehovah;
They shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age;
They shall be full of sap and green:
15 To show that Jehovah is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
