²⁹ I will establish his line forever
    and his throne as long as the heavens endure.^(A)

⁴ The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind,
    “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”^[a](A)

¹⁴ To him was given dominion
    and glory and kingship,
that all peoples, nations, and languages
    should serve him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion
    that shall not pass away,
and his kingship is one
    that shall never be destroyed.^(A)
