I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;(A)
    turn your ear to me(B) and hear my prayer.(C)
Show me the wonders of your great love,(D)
    you who save by your right hand(E)
    those who take refuge(F) in you from their foes.
Keep me(G) as the apple of your eye;(H)
    hide me(I) in the shadow of your wings(J)
from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
    from my mortal enemies who surround me.(K)

10 They close up their callous hearts,(L)
    and their mouths speak with arrogance.(M)
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me,(N)
    with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like a lion(O) hungry for prey,(P)
    like a fierce lion crouching in cover.

13 Rise up,(Q) Lord, confront them, bring them down;(R)
    with your sword rescue me from the wicked.
14 By your hand save me from such people, Lord,
    from those of this world(S) whose reward is in this life.(T)
May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies;
    may their children gorge themselves on it,
    and may there be leftovers(U) for their little ones.

15 As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face;
    when I awake,(V) I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.(W)

    on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.(D)
12 And forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven our debtors.(E)
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a](F)
    but deliver us from the evil one.[b](G)
