17 Domnul este drept în toate căile Sale
şi plin de îndurare faţă de tot ce a făcut!
18 Domnul este aproape de toţi cei ce-L cheamă,
de toţi cei ce-L cheamă în adevăr.
19 El împlineşte dorinţa celor ce se tem de El,
aude strigătul lor după ajutor şi-i salvează.
20 Domnul este păzitorul tuturor celor ce-L iubesc,
dar îi nimiceşte pe toţi cei răi.

şi milostiv în toate faptele Lui.
18 Domnul este lângă(A) toţi cei ce-L cheamă,
lângă cei ce-L cheamă cu toată(B) inima.
19 El împlineşte dorinţele celor ce se tem de El,
le aude strigătul şi-i scapă.
20 Domnul(C) păzeşte pe toţi cei ce-L iubesc
şi nimiceşte pe toţi cei răi.

17 The Lord is righteous(A) in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.(B)
18 The Lord is near(C) to all who call on him,(D)
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires(E) of those who fear him;(F)
he hears their cry(G) and saves them.(H)
20 The Lord watches over(I) all who love him,(J)
but all the wicked he will destroy.(K)
