36 Dar când am trecut a doua oară, nu mai era(A) acolo;
l-am căutat, dar nu l-am mai putut găsi.
37 Uită-te bine la cel fără prihană şi priveşte pe cel fără vicleşug;
căci omul(B) de pace are parte de moştenitori.

24 De aceea, pe oricine(A) aude aceste cuvinte ale Mele şi le face, îl voi asemăna cu un om cu judecată, care şi-a zidit casa pe stâncă. 25 A dat ploaia, au venit şuvoaiele, au suflat vânturile şi au bătut în casa aceea, dar ea nu s-a prăbuşit, pentru că avea temelia zidită pe stâncă. 26 Însă oricine aude aceste cuvinte ale Mele şi nu le face va fi asemănat cu un om nechibzuit, care şi-a zidit casa pe nisip. 27 A dat ploaia, au venit şuvoaiele, au suflat vânturile şi au izbit în casa aceea: ea s-a prăbuşit, şi prăbuşirea i-a fost mare.”

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice(B) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
