Psalm 75
1 Een lied van Asaf, op de wijs van: 'Dood mij niet'. Voor de leider van het koor.
2 We prijzen U, God, we prijzen U!
We prijzen U omdat U dicht bij ons bent.
De mensen vertellen over uw wonderen.
3 God zegt: "Als het juiste moment is gekomen,
zal Ik rechtvaardig rechtspreken.
4 De aarde schudt, de mensen wankelen,
maar Ik heb de fundamenten van de aarde stevig neergezet."
5 Ik zeg tegen de mensen die denken dat ze God niet nodig hebben:
"Wees maar niet zo trots!"
Tegen de mensen die zich niets van God aantrekken:
"Verbeeld je maar niet zo veel.
6 Schep maar niet zo op over wat jullie doen.
Kijk maar niet zo trots rond."
7 Want het gaat er niet om dat de mensen je prijzen.
8 Het gaat erom dat je door God wordt geprezen,
want Hij is de Rechter.
Hij veroordeelt de één, en prijst de ander.
9 Want de straf van God
is als een beker met wijn in de hand van de Heer.
In die beker heeft Hij bruisende wijn.
Hij schenkt zijn beker tot de bodem toe leeg,
tot en met de drab op de bodem.
Iedereen op aarde die zich niets van God aantrekt,
moet die beker tot op de bodem leegdrinken. Ze zullen hun volledige straf krijgen.
10 Maar ik, ik zal voor altijd God prijzen.
Ik zal zingen voor de God van Jakob.
11 De mensen die zich niets van Hem aantrekken,
zullen vernederd worden.
Maar Hij eert de mensen die leven zoals Hij het wil.

上帝是审判者
亚萨的诗，交给乐长，调用“休要毁坏”。
75 上帝啊，
我们称谢你，我们称谢你，
因为你与我们同在。
人们都述说你奇妙的作为。
2 你说：“我已定好时间，
我必秉公审判。
3 大地震动，世人战抖的时候，
是我使地的根基稳固。（细拉）
4 我警告狂妄人不要再狂傲，
告诫恶人不要再张狂。
5 不要再狂妄自大，
不要说话傲气冲天。”
6 人的尊贵不是来自东方，
不是来自西方，
也不是来自旷野。
7 决定人尊贵的是上帝：
祂擢升这个，贬抑那个。
8 耶和华手中的杯里盛满泛着泡沫、精工调制的怒酒。
祂倒出怒酒，让世上的恶人喝得一滴不剩。
9 我要永远宣扬祂的作为，
我要颂赞雅各的上帝。
10 上帝必铲除恶人的势力，
使义人充满力量。

Thanksgiving for God’s Righteous Judgment
To the Chief Musician. Set to (A)“Do[a] Not Destroy.” A Psalm of Asaph. A Song.
75 We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!
For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.
2 “When I choose the [b]proper time,
I will judge uprightly.
3 The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved;
I set up its pillars firmly. Selah
4 “I said to the boastful, ‘Do not deal boastfully,’
And to the wicked, (B)‘Do not [c]lift up the horn.
5 Do not lift up your horn on high;
Do not speak with [d]a stiff neck.’ ”
6 For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
7 But (C)God is the Judge:
(D)He puts down one,
And exalts another.
8 For (E)in the hand of the Lord there is a cup,
And the wine is red;
It is fully mixed, and He pours it out;
Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth
Drain and drink down.
9 But I will declare forever,
I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 “All(F) the [e]horns of the wicked I will also cut off,
But (G)the horns of the righteous shall be (H)exalted.”
