Psalm 5:8-10
Hoffnung für Alle
8 Ich aber darf zu dir kommen,
denn in deiner großen Gnade hast du mich angenommen.
Voller Ehrfurcht bete ich dich in deinem Heiligtum an.
9 Zeige denen, die mich verleumden, dass du zu mir stehst!
Ebne mir den Weg, den ich gehen soll!
10 Was meine Feinde von sich geben, ist nichts als Lüge.
Schlecht und verlogen, wie sie sind, können sie gar nicht anders:
Sie bringen Tod und Untergang,
auch wenn sie es hinter schmeichelnden Worten verbergen.

8 (A)Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies;
Make Your way straight before my face.
9 For there is no [a]faithfulness in their mouth;
Their inward part is destruction;
(B)Their throat is an open tomb;
They flatter with their tongue.
10 Pronounce them guilty, O God!
Let them fall by their own counsels;
Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions,
For they have rebelled against You.
