Psalmen 11
Schlachter 2000
Psalm 11
1 Dem Vorsänger. Von David.
Bei dem Herrn habe ich Zuflucht gefunden!
Wie sagt ihr denn zu meiner Seele:
»Flieh wie ein Vogel auf eure Berge«?
2 Denn siehe, die Gottlosen spannen ihren Bogen;
sie haben ihre Pfeile auf die Sehne gelegt,
um im Verborgenen auf die zu schießen, welche aufrichtigen Herzens sind.
3 Wenn die Grundfesten eingerissen werden,
was soll der Gerechte tun?
4 Der Herr ist in seinem heiligen Tempel.
Der Thron des Herrn ist im Himmel;
seine Augen spähen,
seine Blicke prüfen die Menschenkinder.
5 Der Herr prüft den Gerechten;
aber den Gottlosen und den, der Frevel liebt,
hasst seine Seele.
6 Er lässt Schlingen regnen über die Gottlosen;
Feuer, Schwefel und Glutwind
ist das Teil ihres Bechers.[a]
7 Denn der Herr ist gerecht,
er liebt Gerechtigkeit;
die Aufrichtigen werden sein Angesicht schauen.

Psalm 11
King James Version
11 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11
New King James Version
Faith in the Lord’s Righteousness
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
11 In (A)the Lord I put my trust;
How can you say to my soul,
“Flee as a bird to your mountain”?
2 For look! (B)The wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow on the string,
That they may shoot [a]secretly at the upright in heart.
3 (C)If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?
4 The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s (D)throne is in heaven;
(E)His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.
5 The Lord (F)tests the righteous,
But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
(G)Shall be [b]the portion of their cup.
