Lobt Gott in seinem Heiligtum,
lobt ihn in der Ausdehnung[a] seiner Macht!
2 Lobt ihn wegen seiner mächtigen Taten,
lobt ihn wegen seiner großen Herrlichkeit!
3 Lobt ihn mit Hörnerschall[b],
lobt ihn mit Harfe und Laute!
4 Lobt ihn mit Tamburin und Reigen,
lobt ihn mit Saitenspiel und Flöte!
5 Lobt ihn mit hellen Zimbeln,
lobt ihn mit wohlklingenden Zimbeln!
6 Alles, was Odem hat, lobe den Herrn!

lobt ihn, denn seine Größe ist unermesslich!

lobt ihn mit Saitenspiel und Flötenklang!
5 Lobt ihn mit Zimbelschall,

3 Praise Him with trumpet blast;(D)
praise Him with harp and lyre.(E)
4 Praise Him with tambourine and dance;(F)
praise Him with flute and strings.(G)
5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals;
praise Him with clashing cymbals.(H)
6 Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.(I)

Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in the sky, which testifies to his strength![b]
2 Praise him for his mighty acts;
praise him for his surpassing greatness!
3 Praise him with the blast of the horn;
praise him with the lyre and the harp!
4 Praise him with the tambourine and with dancing;
praise him with stringed instruments and the flute!
5 Praise him with loud cymbals;
praise him with clanging cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
