King James Version
98 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

A Psalm.
98 Sing a (A)new song to the Lord,
For He has done (B)wonderful things,
His (C)right hand and His (D)holy arm have [a]gained the victory for Him.
2 (E)The Lord has made His salvation known;
He has (F)revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has (G)remembered His graciousness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
(H)All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 (I)Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
(J)Be cheerful and sing for joy and sing praises.
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the (K)lyre,
With the lyre and the [b](L)sound of melody.
6 With (M)trumpets and the sound of the horn
(N)Shout joyfully before (O)the King, the Lord.
7 May the (P)sea roar and [c]all it contains,
The (Q)world and those who dwell in it.
8 May the (R)rivers clap their hands,
May the (S)mountains sing together for joy
9 Before the Lord, for He is coming to (T)judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And (U)the peoples with fairness.

Jubel över Herrens makt och frälsning
1 En psalm.
Sjung för Herren en ny sång,
ty han har gjort under.
Han har vunnit seger med sin högra hand
och med sin heliga arm.
2 Herren har gjort sin frälsning känd,
han har uppenbarat sin rättfärdighet
för hednafolkens ögon.
3 Han har tänkt på sin nåd och trofasthet
mot Israels hus,
hela jorden har sett vår Guds frälsning.
4 Höj jubel till Herren, alla länder!
Brist ut i glädjerop och lovsjung!
5 Lovsjung Herren med harpa,
med harpa och med lovsångs ljud!
6 Blås i trumpeter och horn,
höj jubelrop inför konungen, Herren!
7 Må havet brusa och allt som fyller det,
världen och de som bor i den.
8 Må strömmarna klappa i händerna
och bergen jubla med varandra
9 inför Herren, ty han kommer
för att döma jorden.
Han skall döma världen med rättfärdighet
och folken med rättvisa.

have worked salvation(F) for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known(G)

3 He has remembered(J) his love
and his faithfulness to Israel;

4 Shout for joy(M) to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,(N)
with the harp and the sound of singing,(O)
6 with trumpets(P) and the blast of the ram’s horn(Q)—
shout for joy(R) before the Lord, the King.(S)
7 Let the sea(T) resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.(U)
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,(V)
let the mountains(W) sing together for joy;
9 let them sing before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
