Psalm 98
Complete Jewish Bible
98 (0) A psalm:
(1) Sing a new song to Adonai,
because he has done wonders.
His right hand, his holy arm
have won him victory.
2 Adonai has made known his victory;
revealed his vindication in full view of the nations,
3 remembered his grace and faithfulness
to the house of Isra’el.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the victory of our God.
4 Shout for joy to Adonai, all the earth!
Break forth, sing for joy, sing praises!
5 Sing praises to Adonai with the lyre,
with the lyre and melodious music!
6 With trumpets and the sound of the shofar,
shout for joy before the king, Adonai!
7 Let the sea roar, and everything in it;
the world, and those living in it.
8 Let the floods clap their hands;
let the mountains sing together for joy
9 before Adonai, for he has come to judge the earth;
he will judge the world rightly and the peoples fairly.

A Song of Praise to the Lord for His Salvation and Judgment
A Psalm.
98 Oh, (A)sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has (B)done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
2 (C)The Lord has made known His salvation;
(D)His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the [a]nations.
3 He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
(E)All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
5 Sing to the Lord with the harp,
With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
6 With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell in it;
8 Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together
9 before the Lord,
(F)For He is coming to judge the earth.
With righteousness He shall judge the world,
And the peoples with [b]equity.

Convida-se a louvar ao Senhor por amor de sua salvação
Salmo
98 Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, porque ele fez maravilhas; a sua destra e o seu braço santo lhe alcançaram a vitória. 2 O Senhor fez notória a sua salvação; manifestou a sua justiça perante os olhos das nações. 3 Lembrou-se da sua benignidade e da sua verdade para com a casa de Israel; todas as extremidades da terra viram a salvação do nosso Deus.
4 Celebrai com júbilo ao Senhor, todos os moradores da terra; dai brados de alegria, regozijai-vos e cantai louvores. 5 Cantai louvores ao Senhor com a harpa; com a harpa e a voz do canto. 6 Com trombetas e som de buzinas, exultai perante a face do Senhor, do Rei.
7 Brame o mar e a sua plenitude; o mundo e os que nele habitam. 8 Os rios batam palmas; regozijem-se também as montanhas, 9 perante a face do Senhor, porque vem a julgar a terra; com justiça julgará o mundo e o povo, com equidade.
