95 Kommt herzu, laßt uns dem HERRN frohlocken und jauchzen dem Hort unsers Heils!
2 Lasset uns mit Danken vor sein Angesicht kommen und mit Psalmen ihm jauchzen!
3 Denn der HERR ist ein großer Gott und ein großer König über alle Götter.
4 Denn in seiner Hand ist, was unten in der Erde ist; und die Höhen der Berge sind auch sein.
5 Denn sein ist das Meer, und er hat's gemacht; und seine Hände haben das Trockene bereitet.
6 Kommt, laßt uns anbeten und knieen und niederfallen vor dem HERRN, der uns gemacht hat.
7 Denn er ist unser Gott und wir das Volk seiner Weide und Schafe seiner Hand. Heute, so ihr seine Stimme höret,
8 so verstocket euer Herz nicht, wie zu Meriba geschah, wie zu Massa in der Wüste,
9 da mich eure Väter versuchten, mich prüften und sahen mein Werk.
10 Vierzig Jahre hatte ich Mühe mit diesem Volk und sprach: Es sind Leute, deren Herz immer den Irrweg will und die meine Wege nicht lernen wollen;
11 daß ich schwur in meinem Zorn: Sie sollen nicht zu meiner Ruhe kommen.

1 Kommt, lasst uns dem Herrn zujubeln
und jauchzen dem Fels unsres Heils!
2 Lasst uns ihm begegnen mit Lobgesang
und mit Psalmen ihm zujauchzen!
3 Denn der Herr ist ein großer Gott
und ein großer König über alle Götter[a].
4 In seiner Hand sind die Tiefen der Erde,
und die Gipfel der Berge gehören ihm.
5 Sein ist das Meer, denn er hat es gemacht,
und seine Hände haben das Festland bereitet.
6 Kommt, lasst uns anbeten und uns beugen,
lasst uns niederfallen vor dem Herrn, unserem Schöpfer!
7 Denn er ist unser Gott,
und wir sind das Volk seiner Weide[b]
und die Schafe seiner Hand.
»Heute, wenn ihr seine Stimme hört,
8 so verstockt eure Herzen nicht,
wie bei der Herausforderung,[c] am Tag der Versuchung[d] in der Wüste,
9 wo mich eure Väter versuchten;
sie prüften mich — und sahen doch mein Werk!
10 Vierzig Jahre empfand ich Ekel vor diesem Geschlecht;
und ich sprach: Sie sind ein Volk, das in seinem Herzen in die Irre geht,
und sie haben meine Wege nicht erkannt,
11 sodass ich schwor in meinem Zorn:
Sie sollen nicht in meine Ruhe eingehen!«[e]

1 Come,(A) let us sing for joy(B) to the Lord;
let us shout aloud(C) to the Rock(D) of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him(E) with thanksgiving(F)
and extol him with music(G) and song.
3 For the Lord is the great God,(H)
the great King(I) above all gods.(J)
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,(K)
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5 The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.(L)
6 Come, let us bow down(M) in worship,(N)
let us kneel(O) before the Lord our Maker;(P)
7 for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,(Q)
the flock under his care.
Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8 “Do not harden your hearts(R) as you did at Meribah,[a](S)
as you did that day at Massah[b] in the wilderness,(T)
9 where your ancestors tested(U) me;
they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10 For forty years(V) I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,(W)
and they have not known my ways.’(X)
11 So I declared on oath(Y) in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”(Z)

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
