Psalm 94:12-95:6

New International Version

¹² Blessed is the one you discipline,^(A) Lord,
    the one you teach^(B) from your law;
¹³ you grant them relief from days of trouble,^(C)
    till a pit^(D) is dug for the wicked.
¹⁴ For the Lord will not reject his people;^(E)
    he will never forsake his inheritance.
¹⁵ Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,^(F)
    and all the upright in heart^(G) will follow it.

¹⁶ Who will rise up^(H) for me against the wicked?
    Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?^(I)
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,^(J)
    I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.^(K)
18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,^(L)”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
¹⁹ When anxiety^(M) was great within me,
    your consolation^(N) brought me joy.

²⁰ Can a corrupt throne^(O) be allied with you—
    a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?^(P)
21 The wicked band together^(Q) against the righteous
    and condemn the innocent^(R) to death.^(S)
22 But the Lord has become my fortress,
    and my God the rock^(T) in whom I take refuge.^(U)
23 He will repay^(V) them for their sins
    and destroy^(W) them for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will destroy them.

³ For the Lord is the great God,^(AE)
    the great King^(AF) above all gods.^(AG)
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,^(AH)
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
⁵ The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.^(AI)

⁶ Come, let us bow down^(AJ) in worship,^(AK)
    let us kneel^(AL) before the Lord our Maker;^(AM)
