Psalmi 92
Biblija: suvremeni hrvatski prijevod
Zahvaljujte i pjevajte Bogu
Hvalospjev za šabat[a].
92 Dobro je, BOŽE, tebi zahvaljivati
i pjevati tvome imenu, Svevišnji.
2 Jutrom objavljivati tvoju ljubav
i noću tvoju vjernost,
3 uz zvukove žičanih glazbala,
uz melodije harfe.
4 BOŽE, ti si me svojim djelima razveselio,
kličem zbog onoga što si učinio.
5 Kako su velika tvoja djela, BOŽE!
Kako su duboke tvoje misli!
6 Glupan ovo ne može znati,
bezumnik ne može razumjeti:
7 premda zli niču kao trava,
iako zločinci napreduju,
zauvijek će biti uništeni.
8 A ti si, BOŽE, uzvišen dovijeka.
9 Zaista, BOŽE, tvoji će neprijatelji propasti,
svi zlikovci bit će raspršeni.
10 Učinio si me jakim poput bika,[b]
pomazao me svježim uljem.[c]
11 Vidio sam poraz svojih neprijatelja,
čuo jauke zlih napadača.
12 Pravednici će procvasti kao palme
i napredovati kao libanonski cedrovi.
13 Oni su posađeni u BOŽJEM domu,
napreduju u njegovom dvorištu.
14 Čak i u starosti rod donose,
kao zeleno i zdravo drvo.
15 Oni su dokaz da je BOG pravedan.
On je moja Stijena,
kod njega ne postoji nepravda.
Psalm 92
English Standard Version
How Great Are Your Works
A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.
92 (A)It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, (B)O Most High;
2 to declare your (C)steadfast love in (D)the morning,
and your (E)faithfulness by (F)night,
3 to the music of (G)the lute and (H)the harp,
to the melody of (I)the lyre.
4 For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your (J)work;
at (K)the works of your hands I sing for joy.
5 How (L)great are your works, O Lord!
Your (M)thoughts are very (N)deep!
6 The stupid man cannot know;
the fool cannot understand this:
7 that though (O)the wicked sprout like grass
and all (P)evildoers flourish,
they are doomed to destruction forever;
8 but you, O Lord, are (Q)on high forever.
9 For behold, your enemies, O Lord,
for behold, your enemies shall perish;
all evildoers shall be (R)scattered.
10 But you have exalted my (S)horn like that of (T)the wild ox;
you have (U)poured over me[a] fresh oil.
11 My (V)eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies;
my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants.
12 (W)The righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 They are planted in the house of the Lord;
they flourish in (X)the courts of our God.
14 They still bear fruit in old age;
they are ever full of sap and green,
15 (Y)to declare that the Lord is upright;
he is my (Z)rock, and there is (AA)no unrighteousness in him.
