For the choir director: according to Muth-labben. A psalm of David.
1 I will thank the Lord with all my heart;
I will declare all your wondrous works.(A)
2 I will rejoice and boast about you;(B)
I will sing about your name, Most High.(C)
3 When my enemies retreat,
they stumble and perish before you.(D)
4 For you have upheld my just cause;(E)
you are seated on your throne as a righteous judge.(F)
5 You have rebuked the nations:(G)
You have destroyed the wicked;(H)
you have erased their name forever and ever.(I)
6 The enemy has come to eternal ruin;
you have uprooted the cities,
and the very memory of them has perished.(J)
7 But the Lord sits enthroned forever;(K)
he has established his throne for judgment.(L)
8 And he judges the world with righteousness;
he executes judgment on the nations with fairness.(M)
9 The Lord is a refuge for the persecuted,
a refuge in times of trouble.(N)
10 Those who know your name trust in you
because you have not abandoned
those who seek you, Lord.(O)
11 Sing to the Lord, who dwells in Zion;(P)
proclaim his deeds among the nations.(Q)
12 For the one who seeks an accounting
for bloodshed remembers them;(R)
he does not forget the cry of the oppressed.(S)
13 Be gracious to me, Lord;
consider my affliction at the hands of those who hate me.(T)
Lift me up from the gates of death,(U)
14 so that I may declare all your praises.
I will rejoice in your salvation(V)
within the gates of Daughter Zion.
15 The nations have fallen into the pit they made;
their foot is caught in the net they have concealed.(W)
16 The Lord has made himself known;
he has executed justice,(X)
snaring the wicked
by the work of their hands.(Y)Higgaion. Selah
17 The wicked will return to Sheol(Z)—
all the nations that forget God.(AA)
18 For the needy will not always be forgotten;
the hope of the oppressed[a] will not perish forever.(AB)
19 Rise up, Lord! Do not let mere humans prevail;
let the nations be judged in your presence.(AC)
20 Put terror in them, Lord;(AD)
let the nations know they are only humans.(AE)Selah

I Will Recount Your Wonderful Deeds
[a] To the choirmaster: according to Muth-labben.[b] A Psalm of David.
9 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your (A)wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and (B)exult in you;
I will (C)sing praise to your name, (D)O Most High.
3 When my enemies turn back,
they stumble and perish before[c] your presence.
4 For you have (E)maintained my just cause;
you have (F)sat on the throne, giving righteous judgment.
5 You have (G)rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish;
you have (H)blotted out their name forever and ever.
6 The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins;
their cities you rooted out;
the very memory of them has perished.
7 But the Lord sits enthroned forever;
he has established his throne for justice,
8 and he (I)judges the world with righteousness;
he (J)judges the peoples with uprightness.
9 The Lord is (K)a stronghold for (L)the oppressed,
a stronghold in (M)times of trouble.
10 And those who (N)know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, who (O)sits enthroned in Zion!
Tell among the peoples his (P)deeds!
12 For he who (Q)avenges blood is mindful of them;
he (R)does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
13 (S)Be gracious to me, O Lord!
See my affliction from those who hate me,
O you who lift me up from (T)the gates of death,
14 that I may recount all your praises,
that in the gates of (U)the daughter of Zion
I may (V)rejoice in your salvation.
15 The nations have sunk in (W)the pit that they made;
in (X)the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught.
16 The Lord has made himself (Y)known; he has executed judgment;
the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion.[d] Selah
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten,
and (AB)the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
19 (AC)Arise, O Lord! Let not (AD)man prevail;
let the nations be judged before you!
20 Put them in fear, O Lord!
Let the nations know that they are but (AE)men! Selah

Salmo 9
9 Daré gracias al Señor con todo mi corazón(A);
Todas Tus maravillas contaré(B).
2 En Ti me alegraré y me regocijaré(C);
Cantaré alabanzas a Tu nombre(D), oh Altísimo(E).
3 ¶Cuando mis enemigos retroceden,
Tropiezan y perecen delante de Ti(F).
4 Porque Tú has mantenido mi derecho y mi causa(G);
5 Has reprendido a las naciones(I), has destruido al impío,
Y Tú has destruido sus ciudades;
Su recuerdo ha perecido con ellas(K).
7 ¶Pero el Señor permanece para siempre(L);
Ha establecido Su trono para juicio(M),
8 Y juzgará al mundo con justicia;
11 ¶Canten alabanzas al Señor, que mora en Sión(R);
Proclamen entre los pueblos Sus proezas(S).
12 Porque el que pide cuentas de la sangre(T) derramada, se acuerda de ellos;
13 Oh Señor, ten piedad de mí;
Tú que me levantas de las puertas de la muerte(W);
15 Las naciones se han hundido en el foso que hicieron(Z);
16 El Señor se ha dado a conocer(AB);
19 Levántate, oh Señor(AH); no prevalezca el hombre;
20 Pon temor en ellas(AJ), oh Señor;
(Selah)
