Psalm 89:29-37

New American Standard Bible

²⁹ So I will establish his ^[a](A)descendants forever,
And his ^(B)throne ^(C)as the days of heaven.

³⁰ “If his sons ^(D)abandon My Law
And do not walk in My judgments,
³¹ If they ^[b]violate My statutes
And do not keep My commandments,
³² Then I will punish their wrongdoing with the ^(E)rod,
And their guilt with ^[c]afflictions.
³³ But I will not ^[d]withhold ^(F)My favor from him,
Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.
³⁴ I will not ^[e]violate My ^(G)covenant,
Nor will I ^(H)alter ^[f]the utterance of My lips.
^35 [g]Once I have ^(I)sworn by My holiness;
I will not lie to David.
³⁶ His ^[h](J)descendants shall endure forever,
And his ^(K)throne ^(L)as the sun before Me.
³⁷ It shall be established forever ^(M)like the moon,
And a ^(N)witness in the sky is faithful.” Selah
