    listen to my plea for grace.

    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

^16 (A)Turn to me and be gracious to me;
    give your strength to ^(B)your servant,
    and save ^(C)the son of your maidservant.

² Preserve my life, for I am ^(A)godly;
    save your servant, who ^(B)trusts in you—you are my God.
