Psalm 85
For the music leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm.
85 Lord, you’ve been kind to your land;
you’ve changed Jacob’s circumstances for the better.
2 You’ve forgiven your people’s wrongdoing;
you’ve covered all their sins. Selah
3 You’ve stopped being furious;
you’ve turned away from your burning anger.
4 You, the God who can save us, restore us!
Stop being angry with us!
5 Will you be mad at us forever?
Will you prolong your anger from one generation to the next?
6 Won’t you bring us back to life again
so that your people can rejoice in you?
7 Show us your faithful love, Lord!
Give us your salvation!
8 Let me hear what the Lord God says,
because he speaks peace to his people and to his faithful ones.
Don’t let them return to foolish ways.
9 God’s salvation is very close to those who honor him
so that his glory can live in our land.
10 Faithful love and truth have met;
righteousness and peace have kissed.
11 Truth springs up from the ground;
righteousness gazes down from heaven.
12 Yes, the Lord gives what is good,
and our land yields its produce.
13 Righteousness walks before God,
making a road for his steps.

85 耶和华啊！你恩待了你的地，

2 你赦免了你子民的罪孽，
遮盖了他们的一切罪恶。

3 你收回了你的一切忿怒，
使你猛烈的怒气转消。
4 拯救我们的 神啊！求你复兴我们，
求你止住你向我们所发的忿怒。
5 你要永远向我们发怒吗？
你要延长你的怒气到万代吗？
6 你不使我们再活过来，

85 Fuiste propicio a tu tierra, Jehová;
volviste la cautividad de Jacob.
2 Perdonaste la maldad de tu pueblo;
todos los pecados de ellos cubriste. Selah
3 Reprimiste todo tu enojo;
te apartaste del ardor de tu ira.
4 Restáuranos, Dios de nuestra salvación,
y haz cesar tu ira contra nosotros.
5 ¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre?
¿Extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?
6 ¿No volverás a darnos vida,
para que tu pueblo se regocije en ti?
7 ¡Muéstranos, Jehová, tu misericordia
y danos tu salvación!
8 Escucharé lo que hablará Jehová Dios,
porque hablará paz a su pueblo y a sus santos,
para que no se vuelvan a la locura.
9 Ciertamente cercana está su salvación a los que lo temen,
para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.
10 La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron;
