Psalm 78:39-49

³⁹ He ^(A)remembered that they were but ^(B)flesh,
    ^(C)a wind that passes and comes not again.
⁴⁰ How often they ^(D)rebelled against him in the wilderness
    and ^(E)grieved him in ^(F)the desert!
⁴¹ They ^(G)tested God again and again
    and provoked ^(H)the Holy One of Israel.
⁴² They ^(I)did not remember his power^[a]
    or the day when he redeemed them from the foe,
^43 (J)when he performed his ^(K)signs in Egypt
    and his ^(L)marvels in ^(M)the fields of Zoan.
⁴⁴ He ^(N)turned their rivers to blood,
    so that they could not drink of their streams.
⁴⁵ He sent among them swarms of ^(O)flies, which devoured them,
    and ^(P)frogs, which destroyed them.
⁴⁶ He gave their crops to ^(Q)the destroying locust
    and the fruit of their labor to the locust.
⁴⁷ He destroyed their vines with ^(R)hail
    and their sycamores with frost.
⁴⁸ He gave over their ^(S)cattle to the hail
    and their flocks to thunderbolts.
⁴⁹ He let loose on them his burning anger,
    wrath, indignation, and distress,
    a company of ^(T)destroying angels.
