Psalm 78:39-41

³⁹He remembered that they were only flesh,
a wind that passes and does not return.^(A)

⁴⁰How often they rebelled against him
in the wilderness
and grieved him in the desert.
⁴¹They constantly tested God^(B)
and provoked the Holy One of Israel.^(C)
