King James Version
76 In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
6 At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7 Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11 Vow, and pay unto the Lord your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

1 Дирижёру хора, Иедутуну[a]. Песнь Ософа.
2 Я о помощи взывал к Всевышнему;
я взывал к Всевышнему, чтобы Он услышал меня.
3 В день бедствия моего искал я Владыку;
всю ночь напролёт я простирал руки мои.
Душа моя не могла найти утешения.
4 Я вспомнил о Тебе, Всевышний, и застонал;
я размышлял, и изнемогал дух мой. Пауза
5 Ты не давал мне сомкнуть глаз;
я был ошеломлён и не мог говорить.
6 Я думал о днях древних,
о годах давних.
7 Вспоминал ночью песни свои,
размышлял в сердце своём, и дух мой искал ответа:
8 неужели Владыка навсегда оставил нас
и больше не будет благоволить к нам?
9 Навсегда ли исчезла Его милость,
и Он никогда не исполнит Своих обещаний?
10 Забыл ли Всевышний миловать,
удержал ли в гневе сострадание Своё? Пауза
11 И сказал я: «Вот боль моя –
Высочайший более не заступается за нас».
12 Не забуду деяний Вечного;
буду помнить древние чудеса Твои.
13 Я буду размышлять о всех делах Твоих,
о деяниях Твоих думать.
14 Твой путь, о Всевышний, свят.
Есть ли столь великий Бог, как наш Бог?
15 Ты – Бог, творящий чудеса;
Ты явил Своё могущество среди народов.
16 Рукой Своей Ты избавил народ Твой –
потомков Якуба и Юсуфа. Пауза
17 Тебя увидели воды, Всевышний,
Тебя увидели воды и испугались,
содрогнулись бездны.
18 Тучи излили воды,
небо разразилось громом,
и молнии сверкали, как летящие стрелы Твои.
19 В вихре прозвучали раскаты грома Твоего,
и молнии озарили вселенную;
земля содрогалась и тряслась.
20 Путь Твой пролегал через море,
и тропа Твоя – через воды глубокие,
хотя следов Твоих не было видно.
21 Как стадо, вёл Ты Свой народ
рукою Мусо и Хоруна.

76 Dios es conocido en Judá;
su nombre es exaltado en Israel.
2 En Salén se halla su santuario;
en Sión está su morada.
3 Allí hizo pedazos las centelleantes saetas,
los escudos, las espadas, las armas de guerra. Selah
4 Estás rodeado de esplendor;
eres más imponente que las montañas de caza.[a]
5 Los valientes yacen ahora despojados;
han caído en el sopor de la muerte.
Ninguno de esos hombres de guerra
volverá a levantar sus manos.
6 Cuando tú, Dios de Jacob, los reprendiste,
jinetes y corceles quedaron aturdidos.
7 Tú, y solo tú, eres de temer.
¿Quién puede hacerte frente cuando se enciende tu enojo?
8 Desde el cielo diste a conocer tu veredicto;
la tierra, temerosa, guardó silencio
9 cuando tú, oh Dios, te levantaste para juzgar,
para salvar a todos los pobres de la tierra. Selah
10 La furia del hombre se vuelve tu alabanza,
y los que sobrevivan al castigo te harán fiesta.[b]
11 Hagan promesas al Señor su Dios y cúmplanlas.
Que todos los países vecinos
traigan presentes al Dios temible,
12 al que deja sin aliento a los gobernantes,
al que es temido por los reyes de la tierra.
