Isaiah 25:6-9
New International Version
6 On this mountain(A) the Lord Almighty will prepare
a feast(B) of rich food for all peoples,
a banquet of aged wine—
the best of meats and the finest of wines.(C)
7 On this mountain he will destroy
the shroud(D) that enfolds all peoples,(E)
the sheet that covers all nations;
8 he will swallow up death(F) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears(G)
from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace(H)
from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.(I)
9 In that day(J) they will say,
John 12:23-32
New International Version
23 Jesus replied, “The hour(A) has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.(B) 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies,(C) it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it(D) for eternal life.(E) 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.(F) My Father will honor the one who serves me.
27 “Now my soul is troubled,(G) and what shall I say? ‘Father,(H) save me from this hour’?(I) No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name!”
Then a voice came from heaven,(J) “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.
30 Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit,(K) not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world;(L) now the prince of this world(M) will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up[a] from the earth,(N) will draw all people to myself.”(O)

Colossians 2:8-15
New International Version
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy,(A) which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world(B) rather than on Christ.
9 For in Christ all the fullness(C) of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head(D) over every power and authority.(E) 11 In him you were also circumcised(F) with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh[b](G) was put off when you were circumcised by[c] Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism,(H) in which you were also raised with him(I) through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.(J)
13 When you were dead in your sins(K) and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you[d] alive(L) with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,(M) 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness,(N) which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.(O) 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities,(P) he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them(Q) by the cross.[e]

Hebrews 2:9-18
New International Version
9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor(A) because he suffered death,(B) so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.(C)
10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists,(D) should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.(E) 11 Both the one who makes people holy(F) and those who are made holy(G) are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.[a](H) 12 He says,
“I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters;
in the assembly I will sing your praises.”[b](I)
13 And again,
And again he says,
14 Since the children have flesh and blood,(L) he too shared in their humanity(M) so that by his death he might break the power(N) of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil(O)— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear(P) of death. 16 For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants.(Q) 17 For this reason he had to be made like them,[e](R) fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful(S) and faithful high priest(T) in service to God,(U) and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.(V) 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.(W)

Acts 5:29-32
New International Version
29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!(A) 30 The God of our ancestors(B) raised Jesus from the dead(C)—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.(D) 31 God exalted him to his own right hand(E) as Prince and Savior(F) that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.(G) 32 We are witnesses of these things,(H) and so is the Holy Spirit,(I) whom God has given to those who obey him.”
Acts 26:17-18
New International Version
17 I will rescue you(A) from your own people and from the Gentiles.(B) I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes(C) and turn them from darkness to light,(D) and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins(E) and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’(F)
