²⁴ You guide^(A) me with your counsel,^(B)
    and afterward you will take me into glory.
²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but you?^(C)
    And earth has nothing I desire besides you.^(D)
26 My flesh and my heart^(E) may fail,^(F)
    but God is the strength^(G) of my heart
    and my portion^(H) forever.

²⁷ Those who are far from you will perish;^(I)
    you destroy all who are unfaithful^(J) to you.
²⁸ But as for me, it is good to be near God.^(K)
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;^(L)
    I will tell of all your deeds.^(M)
