Psalm 72:15-17

New International Version

¹⁵Long may he live!
    May gold from Sheba^(A) be given him.
May people ever pray for him
    and bless him all day long.^(B)
¹⁶May grain^(C) abound throughout the land;
    on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops^(D) flourish like Lebanon^(E)
    and thrive^[a] like the grass of the field.^(F)
¹⁷May his name endure forever;^(G)
    may it continue as long as the sun.^(H)

Then all nations will be blessed through him,^[b]
and they will call him blessed.^(I)

Prayer also will be made for Him continually,
And daily He shall be praised.

On the top of the mountains;
Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon;
^(B)And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

¹⁷^(C)His name shall endure forever;
His name shall continue as long as the sun.
