A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.

where there is no water.(B)

and beheld your power and your glory.(D)
3 Because your love is better than life,(E)
my lips will glorify you.

and in your name I will lift up my hands.(G)
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;(H)
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.(I)
7 Because you are my help,(J)
I sing in the shadow of your wings.(K)
8 I cling to you;(L)
your right hand upholds me.(M)

Salmos 63
Traducción en lenguaje actual
Tu amor vale más que la vida
SALMO 63 (62)
y contemplar tu poder y tu grandeza!
3 Más que vivir,
prefiero que me ames.
Te alabaré con mis labios.
4 ¡Mientras viva te alabaré!
¡Alzaré mis manos para alabarte!
5 ¡Con mis labios te alabaré
y daré gritos de alegría!
¡Eso me dejará más satisfecho
que la comida más deliciosa!
6 Me acuesto y me acuerdo de ti;
durante toda la noche
estás en mi pensamiento.
7 ¡Tú eres quien me ayuda!
¡Soy feliz bajo tu protección!
8 ¡A ti me entrego por completo,
porque tu gran poder es mi apoyo!
9 ¡Destruye a los que quieren matarme!
¡Échalos en el hoyo más profundo!
10 ¡Que los maten en la guerra!
¡Que se los coman los perros salvajes!
11 Concédele al rey
y al pueblo que te adora
alabarte y alegrarse en ti,
pero a los mentirosos,
¡tápales la boca!
Psalm 63
King James Version
63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
