63 O God, you are my God; ^(B)earnestly I seek you;
    ^(C)my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
    as in ^(D)a dry and weary land where there is no water.

    for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and flesh sing for joy

    so pants my soul for you, O God.

When shall I come and ^(E)appear before God?^[b]

    my God, in whom I ^(C)trust.”

^16 (A)They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;

    nor any scorching heat.
¹⁷ For the Lamb in the midst of the throne ^(C)will be their shepherd,
    and he will guide them to springs of ^(D)living water,
and ^(E)God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

    and he has become ^(C)my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
