Psalm 6
King James Version
6 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?
4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

Salmos 6

Oración que pide misericordia en tiempos de prueba
Al músico principal. En Neginot, sobre Seminit. Salmo de David.
6 Señor, no me reprendas en tu ira;
no me castigues en tu enojo.(A)
2 Señor, ten misericordia de mí, que estoy enfermo;
sáname, pues todos mis huesos se estremecen.
3 Señor, todo mi ser se halla alterado.
¿Hasta cuándo me responderás?
4 Hazme caso, Señor, y ponme a salvo;
por causa de tu misericordia, ¡sálvame!.
5 En la muerte, no hay memoria de ti;
en el sepulcro no hay quien te alabe.
6 Me estoy consumiendo de tanto llorar;
Todas las noches lloro amargamente
y baño con lágrimas mi lecho.
7 Cansados de sufrir están mis ojos;
mis adversarios los han hecho envejecer.
8 Ustedes los malvados: ¡apártense de mí,(B)
que el Señor ha escuchado mis lamentos!
9 El Señor ha atendido mis ruegos
y ha aceptado mis oraciones.
10 Todos mis adversarios quedarán avergonzados;
¡huirán de pronto, totalmente humillados!
