Psalm 6:3-9

⁴ Turn,^(C) Lord, and deliver me;
    save me because of your unfailing love.^(D)
5 Among the dead no one proclaims your name.
    Who praises you from the grave?^(E)

⁶ I am worn out^(F) from my groaning.^(G)

All night long I flood my bed with weeping^(H)
    and drench my couch with tears.^(I)
7 My eyes grow weak^(J) with sorrow;
    they fail because of all my foes.

⁸ Away from me,^(K) all you who do evil,^(L)
    for the Lord has heard my weeping.
⁹ The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;^(M)
    the Lord accepts my prayer.
